Guess it all comes down to, do you want to feel the pull between gears in a stick, or do you want to win?

Anybody want a VTC cheap? It doesn't behave right on a supercharged V8. Send me a PM.

So if I get the CAI intake is there other things I need other than scoop to get the best out of it?

I had RotoFab, chip and MRT 2.0 when I had my LFX RS. No matter what you have, you'll want to get more out of it. One thing about the scoop. If it's a daily driver, may not be worth trading filter life expectancy for the extra 2 or 3 hp of a scoop. I have friends in my club who drive theirs daily with the scoop and complain how dirty and clogged the filter gets. It's one more opening to suck in dust and dirt from.

I think I'm going to buy the vtc the previous guy just offered. Hopefully that's trustworthy. Plus I'm looking at a k&n intake for 150 or i might just spend the money on a better brand intake

Swagner, I think the CAI and the VTC will give you the most noticeable improvement for the money
Both are easy installs and both bring an immediate improvement.
(You'll love the sound of the CAI)
Sine no one has advised you yet, and since it seems to almost be a requirement on all long threads on this forum, get a catch can..
(Yes, I said ithat and jacked my own thread)

People hate on catch cans because it's ALWAYS being talking about...but it's the single best improvement for long-term performance and durability on Direct Injection engines, like our LFX v6. Go with either the RX Speedworks or Elite Engineering. Don't choose a cheap knockoff, you'll regret it.

Hi,
Thanks yah we get what we like. V6, V8, Man, Auto, all that matters is that we like it.

Glad you like your ride!

So the tapshift helps you get an edge? I was mostly talking about stock vs stock. I don't ever plan to mod.

And is the tap shift different from paddle shifting.

Thanks.

I completely agree. I know that I would probably lose to anybody in an auto. But i love my manual. I am a pilot. The airplane that I fly has multiple computers that can fly the airplane way better than i ever could. But i still fly the airplane without the autopilot as much as possible because I love to fly. It all comes down to whether you want to do it yourself or let the computer do it for you.
