Two questions, is it normal to have a small amount of play in the bottom front pins? And should the rear pins sit flush or slightly less than?
They should not wiggle once the top and bottom are in (because the spring will put pressure on them. Can you post a pic of where the pins are?

THANKS

Yes, 140 ft-lbs for lug nuts. It's in the owner's manual in the capacities and specifications section.

So given that this tool is only large enough to maybe hit 4 pistons at a time how did you use it to compress all 6?

I put the pads back in and usd the tool to push the pads. I was slow this time, but, I'll be faster next time. It seemed like there were two different rear pads. The first two pads that I tried to instal were the same and one just wouldn't go in deep enough on the inboard side, I pulled out one of the two remaining pads and it went in fine. I think that ut board pads have squealers and the inboard ones don't.

The 6 pots are able to be pushed in by hand

keep the old pads on the caliper and put the tool on top of them.

i opened up the bleeder screw (with a clear tube on the nipple) and that helped with compressing it by hand. make sure you don't introduce any air into the caliper.

That's a good idea anyway, get the old fluid out of the caliper and system.
The caliper is where the fluid takes the most abuse and temp extremes.

(EDIT) used four supplied new pins in front, rears didn't have pins supplied.

switched back to they align...OEM pads show virtually no wear when compared to new
