My new True Forged Wheels soon to be mounted

I've looked for a long time for wheels to go on my Camaro that would not only support 200 + mph passes at the Texas Mile and other Land Speed Races, but would complement and accent the car as well...

I found them at True Forged Wheels.

These are the Formula Series is a staggered fitment. They are 20 x 11 rears and 20 x 10 fronts... I had them done in the standard polished finish and will decide if I want to color the lips at a later date... With these being a three piece wheel, that's an easy option....

The center caps are custom designed for my car, and they will be OEM color matched...

If you like these or any of the other designs, please do yourself a favor and contact Mike@TF here on the boards. Not only has Mike kept me informed along the way, the owner of the company has posted pics and updates of the progress on Facebook. Great Company... Great Service.....

As mentioned, I will be running these wheels at over 200 mph in land speed events, and therefore I am shodding them with the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G:2's... or the ZL1 tires... They are a true "(Y)" rated tire rated to speeds greater than 186 mph...

I purchased my tires from Rudy at the tirerack.. Like True forged, great service, easy to work with and great advice...

Here are the pics I have right now... that I can post...

I'll be posting lots of pictures of them on the car, and maybe a 200, 210, or possibly a 220 + mph video from the Texas Mile in three weeks...

That's gonna look sick!

Those tires going to be able to hold your horsepower? Or those more for the track?

Thanks All, for the comments and the well wishes...

At my horsepower levels there really isn't a tire that will hold... it'll take some time to dial it in, but we will be using the boost controller and progressive nitrous controller to help limit tire spin... There will still be lots of rubber left on the track surface...

You guys going to use the boost by gear function? I was considering it for a time for that feature so I could leave hard with minimal boost.
