18 SS Dyno before and after, stock vs FBO pump 93

It went to get a base run before the upgrades so if anyone was wondering here it is. The numbers did increase from 395 whpand climbed as we runs increased mostly due from the high temps from setting up the dyno, ratios and running the car etc. AFR leaned slightly from 11.9 to about 12.15 as we gained power.

Ok so im back some years later with the update. 21k on the car running 5w40 total energy 9000 oil
JLT intake oiled blue filter freshly cleaned and oiled
Speed engineering 1 7/8 long tubes with midpipes, stock muffler non npp
Home ported stock tb
Non ported C8 manifold
Hptuners calibrated by myself

Weather 70 degrees low humidity
Final numbers 463 whp, 467 wtq uncorrected.
If you want sae it removed about 4-5 hp and tq. We checked.

You may want to contact this dyno operator and ask him for a SAE correction factor printout. Just for the sake of consistency if you use that same dyno later.

THe OEM calibration's are pretty dam good. 404 hp is 475 at crank.

good catch!

to the op: yeah you can basically throw that dyno chart out the window, since it is uncorrected. it's almost worthless.

Considering the DA when that run was made I’m pretty shocked how high the number is being std

Thats a bit dramatic. As hot as the day was ~90 degrees and high humidity im not sure how much SAE will drop the hp by calculating 77degrees and no humidity.

i have JLT intake and long tube headers and mid pipes sitting in my house right now, so those are going on soon then just chassis work.

Well it's the temperature of the room, not outside

And you also factor in barometric pressure and elevation...... and it can make a pretty substantial difference.... because you also have to factor in when your next dyno will be in

The shop probably has the file saved.... you can just call them and they can send you the SAE or STD chart

Please return back or even just PM me w/ your results with the JLT. I had one on my 2014 and I loved it. The further along I get in my build, the more likely I am to switch to that.
