If you use the crow's foot with it at 90 degrees to the handle, the amount of torque you have selected is what is applied. There is no conversion math necessary. But that is only at 90 degrees. I do not know the torque value specified, but I think it differs between the various models of Camaro.

Mine starting making this noise about 200 miles in. I reached out to my sales guy who is also a camaro fan. Anything I should let them know ahead of time, so that I can knock this problem out immediately?

I just made a couple of appointments, I tried to explain what was going on to the first, but they seemed hell bent on going through their typical routine. Mind you, this was after she told me to drive the car more, because the suspension has to settle (which I ignored and pushed right past).

I called another dealer in the area that is a bit more receptive, and made that appointment first. Hopefully they can sort it out quick, if not I'll go to the original friday.

I'll keep you all posted.

Just a quick update, I called Koons Chevy in Tysons, VA about the issue. I mentioned that I had just purchased the vehicle, but that they knew what the problem was and that it should be a quick 45 minutes to 1 hour fix.

After waiting for an hour, they came back to tell me that they can't work on the car because I just bought it, and that I have to take it back to the original dealer (nearly double the distance away). Mind you, I had mentioned all of this prior to making the appointment.

After going back to my car, I noticed 3 separate scratches that were not there this morning. They're attempting to buff them out now, but I won't be coming back to this dealer.

^^That you can't get the service work done there is a complete bunch of BS. I use a dealer closest to me. The service advisor told me it didn't matter where the service was being done. I definitely would not go back to that dealer.

I won't. I was furious, because I mentioned this to them ahead of time and confirmed it prior to me coming in. Homeboy just refused to touch the car, after I had waited nearly an hour.

Any Chevrolet dealer can perform warranty work on your Camaro. There is no requirement that the selling dealer perform warranty work. I would contact Chevrolet and inform them of this event and tell them that you are an unhappy customer.

I bought mine in Southern California and have the warranty work done at the dealer by my house in Northern California. No questions asked ever. Screw that dealership.

Well their point was that they wouldn't perform the work because there was less than 500 miles on it, and that it should have been caught on the pre-delivery inspection. I could actually wrap my arms around that part, but their unwillingness to even tighten the bolts left me dumb founded and pissed off, especially after waiting an hour.

The Scratches were icing on the cake at that point

Mine was done in an hour here in NJ where I bought the car. No questions, no problem. It's really disturbing to read people having dealership issues over torquing a freakin' bolt!

Disturbing is the perfect word, I literally couldn't wrap my arms around it all. Terrible customer service. I'm here now at the original dealership, and it seems like the foreman is all over it, but even he said that they have to go through GM's order of operations, so I expect I'll be back.

Glad I came across this thread. Last night, I was driving my car and when I went over a series of small bumps, I heard a clunking noise. The passenger and I seem to think it is coming from the front tires. When I drive on a smooth rode, no issues. I have an appointment tomorrow. I'll post on here what they find.
2018 2ss, automatic, 1500 miles:(

I’m sure GM cares.
