The Roto-fab CAI performs great with or without a tune, even after the computer adjust fuel trims to accommodate the change in air flow.

Exactly this. I wasn't sure if the car would eventually compensate for easier breathing without a tune to take advantage of it. Some of the ported intake, etc. threads seemed to show very minimal gains with a stock tune if I am remembering correctly.

I've had other cars where intake swaps were easy persistent xx hp with no tune, and the LT1 cars seem finicky.

I am only interested in a persistent pre-tune gain at this point. I'm not reflashing it for another 20k miles at least. I'd love to put a ported intake manifold/MSD intake and cold air intake on the car, but less than 10hp for >$1,000 doesn't fit my calculus.

Edit: I wanted to say that I'm not insinuating the intake makes less than 10hp, I'm just not wanting to spend lots of money collectively on a bunch of mods just to have the computer rob me, and thus my post to clarify on the non tuned long term gains. Carry on with making good parts!

I have not received definite confirmation of fitment on a 2018, but I do believe it is compatible.

New camaro owner here. What is the hp gain difference between a dry and non-dry cai from you guys? Also would i be able to see that 10+hp gain without a tune?

Just installed mine over the weekend! Fitment was excellent, looks good too! Not sure about any HP gains from just driving it but the sounds of the SC is much louder which I like!
