I bet if he switched cars with his buddies he would still run faster laps than them and it would still seem like he was pulling away on corner exit.
Yes good point, 100 HP advantage is not enough vs a top driver in a great and/or lighter car. GT3s always punch way above their rated HP.

With the extra custom tuning that I'm sure you paid Callaway dearly for correct?

No custom tuning from Callaway, the 618/633 is stock “hot” Callaway... 90+ degree temp during those runs.

The higher HP dyno is a custom tune on the car, for the higher octane when we are able to run it, still extremely conservative due to the extended track time.

Best Regards,
Dave

Thanks for posting Dave. Nice numbers! I can't remember if your car is an A10 or M6.

That tune should be the same in my car or very similar. My ZLE was the first one done at Old Lyme, CT and was then run at Thompson Motor Speedway to test and refine that tune.

Thanks for clearing that up. I just remember your build thread saying you sent it back to Callaway for a blower spacer and a bunch of testing/tuning, and I assumed that cost you a pretty penny.

The Hertz Callaway did not come with the supercharger exposed through the hood and therefore did not use the spacer. He had the spacer installed and hood modified to create a unique Hertz edition. The tune in the Hertz car was most likely more conservative due to the rental nature of the car. My tune was installed to bring it to normal specs.

Thanks, exactly. And my car is an A10. Manual trans car would probably be a bit more.

Best Regards,
Dave
