It wasn't exactly today but I did solve a major tuning issue today. Installed a Magnuson 2650 last week and have been using HP Tuner software to get it dialed in. Everything was fine except I could tell the air was off meaning it wasn't reading air flow correctly. I couldn't figure if it was my MAF or the new LS9 MAP sensor that comes installed on the blower.

My bud at Goat Rope Garage suggested the scaling on the MAP sensor could be off so did a little research and found the scaling for the LS9 MAP sensor was waay different than the stock SS MAP sensor. Plugged the right numbers in and BAM it runs like factory again only with way more power

Now all I have to do is finish the water/methanol injection installation.

Washed the car yesterday.

Tried my best but those wheels are a pain to clean. Good enough for a DD and a part-time track car.

Ran a bunch of quarter miles at Lapeer International Dragway. 12.15 @ 115 was my best run.

Pretty good time and MPH.

...and when is a supercharger getting installed? Now that you ditched your warranty, you might as well

That Duesenberg is a work of art. American craftsmanship at its pinnacle.

Using the long weekend I went ahead and installed the 1LE kit from Wildhammer. Its the dive planes, bezels, upper , lower grill and the front splitter with winglets.

In prep for the install I took the splitter and the bezels to my dealers body shop, I have done business with the manager there for many years. I had them paint the parts to match my side skirts and rear diffuser, I think they came out great.

Not for the faint of heart when you have to take the Dremel to bumper cap but as the guys at wildhammer told me there were marks inside the clip that showed where to cut. I sweated bullets... the rest was pretty easy.

I took out the wheel well covers and took the front wheels off as well that made it super easy to take all the bolts off with the added access. Takes a littler longer but pays off in the end. See the pics below.

I have a wing on order should be here next week. so that should compete the aeros

Not happenin’. Being a convertible, there are limits to how fast I can go before tracks start requiring a roll cage. I just want to crack 12.00 and I’m sure I can do that without boost.

Yeah, I hear you, that's a fair point. The roll cage threshold is 11.50 here even with my coupe (when I asked why not 10.00 as with other supercharged cars, they quoted "aftermarket forced induction device").

Hope you can snatch that elusive 11.9 with your setup, good luck

So our Camaros N/A are not even that far off from the roll cage threshold (11.9, 11.8) many run stock.
