Starting tonight and we'll see how far I get over the weekend.

For the gauges, how should these be wired in? I've seen various articles; some double-tap into existing fuses and such but electrical is far-and-away my weak spot.

Almost done except for PCV lines, power steering, and tune. Need food and liquids badly!

watch the power steering line, make sure you out a spring inside the line to keep it from collapsing under pressure, many have had that happen

yeah looks like that's the part that's going to screw me. Don't have the PS elbow or misplaced it. everything else is in except the for the washer reservoir. using the IPF CC. Held off on the MM for the moment, just to get the car running (tight time table).

gotta run out and see if I can hunt down something to adapt this.

shit. Instant smoke show. Belt. Pulleys all turning nice and free, no binding in the impeller. crap. Pulleys are brand new. Are they offset by chance and I didn't notice?

Edit:

Nevermind. OH dear lord did I do a number on a brand new pulley.

Ok all buttoned up and test drive complete. Fun. Not a lot on the low end but picks up around 4k. I have to get my gauges installed and see where's sitting for boost and A/F.

Idle is a little eratic at times, and have that annoying window error at every start-up and it doesn't seem to want to clear. Other than that, so far so good!

Turn on the AC and see if the loading smooths out the idle.
Need to reset widows if you disconnected the battery. It is in the users manual I think. And it is on this site.

Yep I took care of the window issue already. Just didn't clear the 1st two times for whatever reason.

I also saw that in the IPF thread after I got to work, i'll have a look at that on the way out the door tonight, thanks

Here's that pulley... don't ask, I have no idea how I managed that.

At least that was equipment failure, not technician oversight, lol

Yeah it does for the most part. Belt or compressor squeals though. Reminds me, have to order another belt. Using the used one.

Email Andy & Arno at IPF and they can modify the tune to get rid of the idle oscillation. I would run it a few days before doing this as there may be other tweets you might want.

I'll keep that in mind, Nutt. I have to regap my plugs too, completely forgot about that as I'm reading back through the thread.
