uh oh.
So changed my oil today as I'm planning on taking a road trip from Knoxville, TN to Massachusetts this weekend. While doing that, noticed the damn drain plug on the oil drain hose from the supercharger was GONE. I have no idea how long it's been gone either. I haven't been romping on the car so that's a good thing but nonetheless this is a problem.
Anyone have any thoughts on what I should do here? I replaced the drain plug and refilled the unit and I'm going to drive it to work tomorrow. But this makes me a little nervous taking it 900 miles, driving around MA for 9 days, and then another 900 back.

Did you check the oil level before you refilled?

Call Vortech, tell them what happened and see what they say. (1 805-247-0226)

Not a bad idea. I'll try and hit them up when I get out of work.
Still a little curious where that thing went. Thought I tightened it down after putting the S/C in, and there weren't any leaks on the floor either. I'm half thinking it happened yesterday on the way home from work, I thought I noticed something sounded a little off. Ah well... we shall rebuild!
