Need New Tires (Stock Wheels) - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

My stock Pirellis are just about done and its time for new tires. I am considering going up a size to 305/35R20 in the rear and 275/40R20 in the front. I did some searching, but didn't have much luck. I know G-Force is running Pirelli 305/35 with no problems, but what about the front? Will 275/40s be fine?

Also I'm looking for recommendations on WHAT tire to purchase. Looking for a max performance summer tire. I know that Nittos run a little narrow, so they may be my best choice. Any recommendations as to what Nittos to throw on there? How about another brand? Let me know what you guys are running.

I've looked through the sticky but it doesn't answer my questions and I was looking to see what everyone here has been replacing their stockers with.

Just installed the NT05's. I drive it on the track at NASA events so I will let you know how they perform. I plan on adjusting the camber to take advantage of this tires. After much research these were the best that I could find on the stock 20" wheels. So far they feel sticky. I have replaced the springs and sway bars.

I use the yokohama prada spec x and they handled great so far in any weather; even snow while I was stationed in VA.

The Yokohama S Drive tires are the best tires I ever used.
