AFE bought out Pfadt. Are their headers still a tri-y design? I had them on my 5th gen ZL1 and they performed and sounded great!

Bump! looking to purchase this exhaust soon. Seems to be the "quieter" of the axle backs if I'm correct. Not looking to wake the dead or cops per say lol. Any other reviews or users can share more on this setup. Haven't been able to find much on youtube, would like to hear what it sounds like with the exhaust closed.

From what I gather the from what others said is its just loud and louder. I don't think it's going to be as quite as you think it will be. You may want to look at Borla S-Type NPP or Stainless works NPP system that has a deeper tone or Corsa NPP.

appreciate this response. I'm concerned the corsa will be to loud at full tilt, not sure on the borla, everyone seems to remove them, the stainless works I was looking into but I think they removed it and how just have straight piped and no mufflers.

Below is the video that is selling me on the AFE, I believe the cross over pipe which you don't see on any of the systems out there removes some of the rasp which seems nice. Might pull the trigger on it.

All stainless works have mufflers to my knowledge. Borla S-Type NPP sounded good and deeper, Corsa NPP just hope you don't get valve rattle because that's a huge and well known issue but if you are the original purchaser it has been said by quite a few people they stand behind it but I think per their website it's only for 5 years on the valves I think I can't remember right off hand.
