Possible diff issue

Wanted to run this by the group. I have my car in for service for the issue but I'm getting "It's the tires, they don't grip the road for shit".

At 10k miles I replaced the F1's which were essentially like slicks at that point. They would kick out everywhere, spin off the line at lights, etc. Went to 285/30/19 and 325/30/19 Hankook Ventus V12's on 19" 10/11 MRR M716 replicas. Things were great for 4-5k miles. In the last, say, 500-1000 miles the car developed an issue in corners. It feels like power loss somewhere, and getting a slight bucking like the diff is slipping or something. Fine in straights, but just feels unstable, quirky, and lacking through the twisties. On one trip with the wife in the car, she can feel the jerkiness at times and had a pretty good metallic clank in the rear when running up an on-ramp on a nice sweeping turn. The rear has been serviced once around 4-5k by the dealer for a pinion seal leak. No service beyond that regarding the rear.

So far, dealer hasn't been able to duplicate it. I stopped by to take it for a test drive with a tech and had a failing valve stem (3rd one at this point) so didn't get to, but the valve stem isn't the root cause.

Wanted to ask and see if anyone had any thoughts.

I had a similar problem, I found that my sway bars were loose, so I torqued them down. The rear still feels a bit sloppy though.

Dealership thought it was normal, I found that my sway bars were loose AFTER they declared my car was normal. So, I recommend getting under the car and having a look yourself, your experience with a dealer may vary.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that your front tires are two inches smaller in diameter (27.7" vs OEM 25.7") and your rears are .9" smaller (27.6" vs OEM 26.7"). I'm sure that's doing wonders for your traction control system....

Fronts are 285/35/19 not 285/30, my typo. .8 front, .9 in rear from OEM overall height.
