2014 front bow tie removal

Thinking of removing the front bow tie on my '14. Anyone done this? Pics.

Should pull out like previous years. But without an insert, the location and mounting holes will be visible.

2014 has a different grill so the bow tie delete kit won't work. best bet is to buy a t-rex grille or a z28 grille

I don't see a kit for the 14. The link I provided was an example.

Is that grill specific to the RS package only? The grill on my 1LT non RS still has the horizontal bar in the center... I imagine if someone came up with a bowtie delete like the 10-13, it may still look good on the non RS grill?

I took mine off and painted it flat black - blends in nicely. The yellow/silver colors had to go!

Hmm, this sucks. I kinda was hoping for an easy way to get addional air flow without cutting up the grille.

I wonder if it would look bad to completely remove that middle piece...bowtie background and all...

I just installed the trex phantom girl on my 2014 RS

I just installed the trex phantom girl on my 2014 RS, and I was thinking about removing the bowtie. It looks kind of odd with the gold just sticking out like that.
