Commercial for ZL1

You know how we all like to bash Chevrolet for not having and commercials for the 6th Gen like Dodge has for Challenger?

I think they need to redo this commercial for the 4th Gen Z28 and use a 6th Gen ZL1. Would be totally bad ass...

If people need a commercial to be in the know, then they know nothing about this car.
I don’t see a 720S commercial but I know what it does. Just MHO.

Considering Camaro is the lowest selling sports car (between ford, dodge, and chevy) and they are reportedly killing it in 3 yrs , it is long time passed for a commercial

This is the Aussie commercial for the ZL1. At $170,000AUD a copy I wish them luck. We'll done though.

It appears that Chevy has thrown in the towel on Camaro, enjoy what you have.

When I first heard that GM was going to kill off the Camaro, I didn't really believe it.

Now, it's pretty clear that GM has no interest in the Camaro beyond killing it off ASAP. I think announcing that it would be killed off was somewhat of a sales tactic. Obviously it didn't work as sales continue to decline.

IMO, I think the Camaro name carries a negative stigma to it. Many people automatically think rednecks, mullets, and white trash. There has never been a worse time in our country to be associated with those things- even if it's not based in reality. Couple that with the fact that the car has bad visibility and is essentially a 2 seater and it's a recipe for disaster.

People buy cars to enhance their image or be an extension of their personality. This is where the Camaro is lacking. It desperately needs an image update more than a performance update. If GM isn't willing to do that, then I'd rather see them kill it off now as opposed to letting it rot on the vine for 2 or 3 more years.

I wouldn't be surprised if they bring it back in a few years as an electric or hybrid or something.

Agree... this car isn't a 720S... it's a Camaro...

Dodge has great Hellcat commercials, GM does a piss poor job of marketing

The chevy fan boys give GM too much credit, they think that GM actually knows what they are doing. They don't.

Before the Hellcat came out it was camaro and mustang fighting it out month by month and dodge always a distant 3rd.

When the hellcat came out things changed. They started to advertise the car like crazy.
The Hellcat ads brings people into the DODGE showroom and when the buyer gets priced out of the Hellcat they push them into the lower models. DUH advertising 101 !!

If Chevy posted heavy ZL1 ads it would bring up the Camaro sales way up and push sales to other chevy cars. GM not so smart!!

Part of chevys issue selling the camaro is marketing. There is none! I have not seen a camaro commercial in 8 yrs!

Ford mustang? Its on tv ALL DAY EVERY DAY. Its like chevy has zero interest in even selling them.

It's a shame, because this is an outstanding car. When I go to cars and coffee, people stop and stare at my car, and ask questions, want to see under the hood, etc. The value the ZL-1 brings to the table is second to none, but those retards at GM just don't have any interest in it.
