PDR Issue

I just picked up my 2017 ZL1 yesterday from Ted Britt Chevrolet and just love the car. Question is related to the PDR, while driving home (without a SD card), when PDR was selected from the main menu, I would get the message No Media Found. I purchase a Scan Disk 32 MB card today, inserted it, and when you press the PDR icon, nothing happens, no warning, no error, Nothing.

Tried removing the card, resetting the radio, and its still the same thing. It simply does not do anything. Since I live a long way from the dealer, was hoping someone could give me some advice.

Thanks!

There's been a lot of talk about this. Do yourself a favor and go buy a SanDisk 32Gb exactly like this one. I plugged it right in and it worked perfectly for me. It provides over 700 minutes of footage on it. Unless you are going to record every second you drive it's more than enough. The manual recommends 32G as the largest. I know others have used larger with no problems while some have had to do special formatting. You could also try throwing the one you have into a computer and reformatting it.

Agree with inspector17. I'm using the same 32 GB Sandisk card and it was good to go right out of the package. I wouldn't want to sort through more than 700 minutes at one time anyways. Plus, if you buy 2, while you're working on the footage from the first card, the other card can be in the car.

It has to be a Class 10 card. Forgot to mention that.

If your card is really only 32MB, that would be part of the problem (could be a typo though), but since you can still buy both, I want to be sure that's what you meant.

As posted above, use one of their links for a 32GB and you'll be set right out of the package.

Make sure it is a class 10 and at least a U3. Then it should be either an 8GB, 16GB, or 32GB. Nothing smaller, nothing bigger. Get one that is specifically a class 10, U3, and 8GB or 16GB or 32GB and it will work right out the box.

PDR Issues

It was a 32GB card, that was a typo. I will get another card and give it a try!

I think it depends on the computer you have. I bought a 64 and spent an entire night trying to re-format it and got nothing. I used my desktop, my laptop, an old S3 Galaxy cell phone, I downloaded 3 different programs...and nothing. So I gave up, considered it a $27 loss, and just bought a new one.

That's the thing. If you're looking for the easiest and safest solution, go with the 32GB one or a similar one as mentioned. If you're computer savvy and feel like trying to mess around with the formatting, then go bigger.

GB you mean. 32G is the largest recommended size.
