I would expect something closer to C4-C5. Similar overall proportions but a big jump in design.

I cant wait to see this. The Auto Show is going to be awesome. The 2014 Silverado is gonna be shown too right? Im also really interested in the Gen V motor. Back to the Corvette. I remember Car and Driver had a rendering with a sweet front end, but a kind of so-so rear. Anyways I cant wait

The new logo is very nice. I wonder why the checkered flag swapped positions with the Chevy flag?

Companies need to design better logos. All the new companies have horrible logos (Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, current Toyota logo, Lexus). The only good designs are at least 30 years old, but this new Corvette logo is easily the best looking of the new logos.

example of crap logos:

These new logos are okay, but aren't very interesting:

See what I mean? Everything that's new is either an oval, circle or shield shape. That's why this new Corvette logo is so refreshing.

What scares me is that I have not seen one photoshop that I think looks good for the C7. I'm keeping the faith that GM used none of them.

Scrapping my Z06 Build idea and holding out for a NEW ZR1 when the C7 hits, the prices will drop significantly. Why start with 505hp, when you can start with 638hp and go up to 700 on a few parts and a tune.

The C7 will probably take a few years to grown on me like the C6 did.

IMO, you'll be waiting a while for a new ZR1 to get added to the C7 lineup. I personally don't think that will come out for at least another two years after base C7's start rolling off the line. I'm still holding onto my Z06 idea, which I assume was the same as yours. The value will come down a little. And every penny counts with me.

looking back , i like all Corvette bodystyles, but the rendering's i've seen of C7 look like a mishmash of other cars stuck together. Hoping that's not the case.

Welp, this further solidifies my plan to snatch a C6 Z06 on the cheap. Prices will drop even more once this flavor of the month hits the streets.

My apologies Camaro_Corvette,

I meant a cheap NEW "left over" 2012/2013 ZR1.
