Front seal replaced now new leak help please.

I didn't upgrade the fr main seal and blew it and upgraded to the ls3 cleaned all the oil off the car and now experienced another leak but i cannot figure from where, its not behind the balancer like the fr main. seems to be coming from around the starter area.?!? anyone with similar experience please chime in, putting her up on lift today. TIA

It would be the rear seal. You better check the piston failure, do the leak down test.

I blew front seal first, then replaced it with the ls3 and couple months late the rear seal. Then the carnage, number 1 ring land and then number 8 and she was smoking bad and dumping oil out the rear seal, bad enough I oil the track down for about a 25 minute cleanup and I had a belly pan diaper to catch oil if it happened, still enough came over the diaper and got on the exhaust. That sucked.

Almost no signs with scaner. Even my friend got 6 broken ring land out of 8, his car ran very well, except the blowbygas from the seals.

Mine ran well also but it dumped oil on the drag strip. That's not good and slicks really don't like it plus the wall is only about 10 ft away at over 140 mph or the guy in the other lane and the drag strip crew doesn't like the clean up either. If you do have broken ring lands its probably already damaged the cylinder walls. Compression check and have someone with a bore scope take a look down each of the cylinders.

I'm only running the 3.650 pulley so 8 - 9 lbs is all I have seen, going to bore scope the pistons and see if there is any damage to the walls. My technician friend said there would be white smoke if the motor is burning oil. I saw white smoke but I thought it's from it leaking out and hit the hot exhaust, will report back with the findings. Thank you all

What’s ambient temp? What are the conditions for that reading (WOT, for how long, etc)? Number of factors go into that.
