take a look at this mad intake for me!

Hey, going to post some photos below,


long story short I bought an msd intake that ended up being junk.


i took it apart and here are some photos, let me know if this is usable!

Why is this intake manifold junk? Just looks to be a bit oily inside.

Well it's warped from the sides doesn't fit evenly but it's missing both and it has squished gasket so I have to get all new gaskets and I'm going to buy a new bolts and gaskets but I don't know how to make sure that the structure of the runners is fine being as how they are somewhat exposed where there are cracks into the rest of the manifold from the runner and they stripped out one of the bolts in the front that I have to find a way to repair

I'm assuming you bought this second-hand? It just looks like the previous owner had some blowby and no catch can. Simple Green and some elbow grease and you should be back in business

yes biggest problem I'm having is the metal flakes in it

also there is a sort of metal threaded rod running down the center, it was loose and tightens but I don't know what the implications of that meant. I am just trying to make sure it's safe. lots of unknown here

got it cleaned up today, found only a small leak to the runner from the inside. can anyone tell me if this will be an issue?
