Looking to hit this one as well, just picked up some ZL1 Recaros, see if they can keep me glued in better around the big turns. Save my muscles a bit.

Would be nice to see a bunch of Camaros in the paddock. I'll still be the slowest car on the track.

As a thought: Don't forget to get your tech inspection sheet down loaded from the NASA site. You will need to get that completed and signed by an ASE technician. I usually take off a half of day on Friday and take advantage of the early tech inspection session, Friday afternoon, at the track. You need to have both tech inspections. I find it easier to get this out of the way on Friday afternoon and then just head in on Saturday to the drivers' meeting.

Do not be late to the 7:30AM drivers' meeting if you are running HPDE1 (novice). This will mean that you sit out a run session.

I'll be staying at the Candlewood Suites, right next to the track. I am up for a group dinner on Friday night, too (Mosca's -- cash only).

I highly doubt that. What group are you running in now? 2?

I will be running in Novice, at least for a session or two. I was passed into 2 last year. However, I have new tires and new brakes and I think having an instructor for a session or two is a better way for me to go.

It was nice meeting you guys. I'm going to miss fest this year as well unfortunately. Adopting a new baby and taking my kid to a few sports camps is going to eat up the vacation days I used for fest last year.
