The price on the 2021 Corvette will have an increase over the 2020 model! GM has already stated that. And yes I believe also that an LT5 Camaro would be at least $80,000 when all said and done and GM will not invest in developing that engine option because not many would be sold just like the 5th gen Z28s stayed on the dealer lots!

The LT1 needs a performance tire option. The all season tires are holding it back from being the all stock 1/4 mile champ.

GM is going electrification effort, so they don't really care current Camaro and other ICEs so much except the C8 Corvette.

Agree, Coronavirus is going serious. I doubt it will delay the 21's model production.

I think the LT1 also needs a heated seat option. That is the only thing keeping my Son from buying one...

Other car companies sell cloth seats with heated option...

Agree! They should create a "safety and convenience" option package that has heated seats, auto dimming rearview mirror (or camera mirror), blind spot monitors, and rear cross traffic alert. That would solve my biggest gripes with the car.

Shouldn't have to go all the way up to a 2SS to get some of the basic safety and convenience features. They could charge a reasonable price for the option package on lower trims like LT1.

Whatever floats your rubber ducky, but In a car like this half the fun is shifting your own gears.

+100000

This is my only gripe with the LT1. At the very least we should get an optional package similar to the '2LT' trim on the lower cars:

Heated/ventilated leather-appointed power 8-way driver and power 6-way passenger seats
Dual-zone automatic climate control
Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System† with 8-inch diagonal color touch-screen display

That would be a perfect 1LT for me. I'm not too worried about the stock wheels & tires since they can be easily upgraded.

It does it’s called the SS.
People seem to forget this was GM answer for a cheaper entry level street version V8 not a track version.

If you start adding performance tire package, the cooling required to call it a track version and MRC your back to a SS.

To be honest when you add the performance tire package that’s going to add a good bit of weight. Considering the LT1 is only about 75lbs lighter your back to the SS again.

Maybe GM can offer a twin-turbo ventilator that adds about 100 horsepower to the 6.2, but unbolts so you can take it inside if you get the virus.
