I would get what you want now so that you'll have your warranty. Just take into consideration what you want to do with the car later for add ons so that your not basically paying for it twice (ex. Npp exhaust now if you getting aftermarket later).

I was checking with the dealership to find out the status , they told me that its scheduled for build week of July 23rd. How long do you think it will take to reach the dealership .

Do you think i did the right thing by ordering 2018 camaro when they are about to take orders for 2019 Camaro. I personally hated the new look of 2019 , it looks more like Dodge Charger, Chevy Malibu/Impala

Whether you made the right decision is entirely up to you. I ordered a 19 because I wanted the A10 and the rear view camera. Also the updated infotainment was also a bonus. I like the new front end but that is a personal preference.

Preference takes presedence I think. I personally love the Gen6 style and look, so much that I too walked away with a 18 2SS 48 hrs ago (McClarty Daniels too). Loved my Gen5 refresh too tho, but I can’t see myself going backwards (if Gen7 got wider again). That new refresh can be appealing, but Gen6 is just too awesome-looking and therefore going to be difficult to improve on, again, IMO.

Loved to have that A10 at my disposal tho... just sayin.

My wife has a 2LT and I have a 2SS, Both are Hot wheels. I get 22 MPG average and she gets 26 MPG. She works for me so we both make the same drive to work and its half hwy and half city. I drove her 2LT down to Key West the first week we had bought them and she got 28.6 MPG hwy. I took my 2SS last week on a good 50 mile hwy run and got 27.3 MPG. I don't see a reason to get a V6 for fuel economy.

It also depends on the terrain, though. With a few hills to climb, you'll be down on mpg faster than the V6. I can get 26-ish around here, but any more than that only happens if I only do 55-60 mph and allow the car to slow down on climbs. Unless you're feathering it all the time, I have no idea how you average 22

Your correct on the terrain, Around here the only hill is a overpass. I will post a picture of my average. I run 80 MPH if traffic allows, I don't race everywhere i go so that makes a big difference. i do see it go into 4 cyl mode a lot and stay there. I would think a small working hard motor would suck more fuel than a larger one that's not.

I average over 31 MPG over all and 33 plus MPG on highway trips by keeping the V6 in V4 mode as much as possible. This V6 is capable of some really good MPG's. How you drive the car can dramatically change fuel economy. Also the V6 runs on 87 octane which these days is a $10 or so per tank savings....

Rebates and incentives have been all over the place on the 18's lately. I hope when your car arrives there will be some decent rebates...

Did anyone add HUD display to their 1LT? I tried searching the forum and understood that its a difficult process and even you need to change the Windshield for this. Let me know if there are any new technologies that are much easier to install.

Also i am looking for 360 degrees camera for my Camaro. Suggestions please. Found there is one called Gen5DIY which costs 1300$, any other suggestions than this?
