GM dark tail lights -vs- the smoked covers
Looking to do one of these options (can't find the thread with the darkened covers)
Curious if the GM ones are with the extra cash and if the covers look 'proper' when installed Thank you |

The covers look like covers.
The OEM lights look OEM.

The main drawback to the covers is that they are illegal and the GM ones are fully legal...I know because a cop pulled me over for them when I was in a Gen3 going through a drunk driving checkpoint one night back in the day. From then on, I swore those things off.
