What offsets for a square setup with no mods to make them fit

2016 1SS

20x10 +35

?

Will this work with no mods an say 285/35/20 or do I need a 285/30/20 for no rub?

I’d like to run a square setup for benefits of rotating.

And since I am looking for new wheels matters well try to make that happen.

Any insight.

I also saw 19X10+35

Any info is appreciated

We have done plenty of square set up's with some of our wheels
a standard 20x10 23et front and back work perfect with a 285/35 . no mods required/ no rubbing/ just bolt them up and ride

Now I am not at a stop light and can make a better reply.

So I am looking for the same look as stock or very similar.

I don’t want the wheels / tires to stick out from the fenders. I’d like them flush or slightly inside.

So +23 work for the front and the rear???

I’d think they would stick out in the rear with a +23

What about +30? Or +35 for the rear and +23 or +25 for the front??

I’ve tried to google pictures and seen a few that are slightly sticking out. I don’t want that.

And I don’t not believe you that they work mrr, it’s jist do the stick out?

Thank you for the reply.

I don’t have mag ride.

Currently on stock suspension.

Considering bmr or phastek lowering springs.

Since 285/35/20 fits on the 20x10 +23et then 275/40/20

275/35/20 fit ??

Thanks

hi.

So running square means same offsets. You cannot swap wheels around front to back if you start using different measurements.

20x10 is the common standard for square... yes, track rats will chime in..

20x10 23mm poke the wheel out 21mm front and 22mm back. Which is pretty much flush. There are so many pictures here of that type of setup or similar.

If you really want them inside the fender the only choice is 20x9.5 25mm. That brings them in 8mm front and 7mm out back.
If you look at my pics I have 9.5 wide wheel with 25mm offset. They are 19" though...

If you are going to lower, 285/35 is too big. Need to drop to a 285/30. Of course I am talking about 20" sizes here.

19 inch is different...and the width you choose effects size choice as well.

I can see why some do not like the extreme tires that poke out but those are track setups.
Too me a 20x10 23mm is the sweet spot, right on the fender.

Thank you for the reply.

And the knowledge.

And it’s obvious about needing to be the same - but I guess I got so lost into the wheels sticking out that I forgot that.

So the 20x10 + 25 is flush perfect?

I think I could handle that. Not sticking out at all. But right there flush??

I know it sounds nit picky - but don’t went to spend $$ and not like what I buy.

Think I’ll go to the next cars and coffee and look at some cars and see if anyone has similar setup I’m trying to arrive at.

And I think that 9.5 +25 would be great. Got to find the right wheels in that size then.

Thank you.

I’ll check out your pictures now.

I looked at your pictures Bradford,

So they appear flush to me in the pictures but you have the 19x9.5 + 25

which is under the fender?

You car looks good btw. I like the bronze.

Depends how you look at it.
This pic you can see they are inside the fender.
When going 10” wide they is only so much room to push them in.

Do you think 20x10 + 30 would be under the fender?

I don’t know enough about offsets.

And would it clear the rear and front?

Or should I just 20x10 + 25 since I can’t find the 20x9.5 +25 in a wheel that I like.

Sorry,

I re read the post you made,

20x10 +23 is where I may end up going then if it’s a possibility.

I know 20x10 +25 is available in a wheel I saw.
