to the O.P. or anyone else who may know this ... I dont have any questions of the wiring itself that much I get . But what I am having some confusion with is the LC6/LC7 . In this set up the O.P. clearly states that he used 2 of the 3 inputs on the LC unit but is using all 3 of the outputs .Does it self correct to a 3 channel with only 2 inputs ? it has no switch that does it .

I am contemplating on doing a somewhat similar set up using a 5 channel amp . amp the factory fronts (at least for a while ) , rear channel to a pair of 6 3/4 in the deck lid . and a single sub in the trunk .

Yep. It can take two inputs(fronts and rears) and output 3 sets of RCA's. My sub channel gets it's low frequency from the rear speakers.

Also guys. The company who's first name is sub and last name is thump has a harness now allowing you to not have to cut any wires.

He's had that for months now but couldn't wait for the Bose one any longer so just cut the wires. Enough was enough. Waited a year.

Most modern amps have a signal sensing feature so a remote power wire isn't needed.

You may have an issue if you don't connect a remote wire (at least I had an issue). Refer here if you're curious about it at all. http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=474059

Ok. Looking for a switched 12volt source to turn my Audio Control LC2i on. I thought maybe there is a spot in the box in the upper right corner of the trunk well location that I could tap in to on my 1SS. I know the 2SS has the wireless charger to tap into but my 1SS does not. Just thought I would ask before I start probing around.

Think I used the wireless charging fuse. Just read the box cover and choose whatever common sense says turns on only when the vehicle is turned on or unlocked or opened. That should work.

Will look tomorrow. Yes the 2LT has the fuse for the wireless charger unlike my 1SS.

Does the 1SS have the active noise cancelling and if so, how did you deal with it?

If it has it, you would disconnect the microphone inputs the same as for the Bose system. This effectively disables the ANC system. ANC needs all its inputs to remain active.

Not sure but I assume so. I unplugged it from the start but will try plugging it back in to see. Here is what the harness looks like so I would say yes but we will see.
