Yeah I brought mine back in to 12.8-13 runs hard. Low end is really strong, doesn’t show any perceivable loss compared to the lt1. We’ll see what it runs tomorrow night

Mine shows it is suppose to be here on Fed-Ex today and I will do back to back pulls showing the A/F differnce pre install, and after. I need to get it dialed in for the E85 anyways so this gave me a good excuse to do so

Main thing is make sure your intake tube isn’t all bound up. When I first put it on and did my first pull I just shoved the intake on the Tb and it was kind of bound up and I lost 50rwhp lol. I went and readjusted my cai and next pull I picked up 20rwhp from the old intake.

did you have an msd on the car before? the low end on the LT2 seemed the same as the stock LT1 intake manifold i replaced.

I bought one and tested it a while ago and then sold it..
I very much remember the feels of it
To clarify when I said compared to the msd, compared to how the msd lost power to the lt1
like it lost a lot of scoot at 1500rpm, and a decent Amount until it “turned on” at 4000. The car wouldn’t 60ft for sh*t unless you slipped the crap out of the clutch off the rev limiter. I don’t like doing that.
Threw the ported stocker on and the 60fts came right back without clutch smoke.

Some m6 cars get the msd to work well, I tried and couldn’t, a a10 would absolutely love it.

I had the pray ported stocker on there very happily for over a year now, before the LT2...and as you experienced as well, the power stayed the same with the lt2 as the lt1 down low.

To me, for a bolt on car, the lt2 is a no trade off cheap option. It kicks ass. The proof will be in the pudding tomorrow.

i agree with this. the LT2/95 mm tb will be untouchable for the money and most likely outperform an msd with a stock tb. if i didn't have further plans i never would have bought an msd.

out of curiosity, what size/brand tire were you using at the drag strip?

i have the same tire, been waffling on which wheel to buy.

assuming a stock rev limiter now; are you planning on bumping up the shift points?

yes but there are a lot of compromises to make with the high ram. awesome manifold, but racecar status only.
