Need help with Data logging!

Hi, so I’m suppose to send my tuner logs after receiving his base tune, 3rd gear pulls from 2500-6500. I have a nice safe road that’s very long and wide but it has a light uphill going up and a slight downhill coming down, I’m just curious if that will mess the log. I’ve been trying to find a thread on this but couldn’t.
I think it may mess with the load, but I’m not sure.
Can anyone help?

i road datalog all the time. you should use a steady incline up use consistent spot and speed. Says me from NH, lol. if what I am reading is the road has a peak and you'll go down the back? if it were me I would probably have a finger on the space bar and cut the log as you reach the peak and not collect the downhill part. MAF calibration for WOT works this way. And you don't need that much span 2k to 4k in a lower gear will also work fine.

Changes in loads and speed will affect the graph averages so depends which tune you are working on. The chart is pretty to look at but the data used to manage your tables is graphed. the hit counts will collect during decel affect the true load average if your car has varying load.

Don't worry too much about it. some tests are actually done with normal casual driving also like STFT LTFT. Just ask your guy which type of road test to run. If not, find a better flat road do you your stretch and same thing, stop the logging before you decelerate. the space bar will toggle log start stop. if you hit the space bar twice, before saving, start over again. :>

I usually drop into Neutral if I'm going to be coasting more than for just coming to a stop (e.g. coasting down a grade). You could use a filter, I imagine, in the graph, too, to perhaps eliminate some of that kind of data you don't want, too. Anyways - if you do choose Neutral, just make sure your engine doesn't stall or anything like that. Loosing power brakes and such would not be ideal...
