Something is off with my 16 Camaro 6 LT1

My engine seems to be working harder than usual. When vehicle is at a standstill, the RPM is sitting at 0.5. Shouldn’t it be sitting on 0? I noticed this issue after getting an oil change from jiffy lube. I’m not sure what was done but it was done poorly. (They didn’t even tighten the oil cap and it was sitting unscrewed for a few days)

Please help. I love my Camaro.

If the engine is running at idle then 500 RPM is the normal idle speed. The tachometer is electronic and controlled by the ECU so it seems unlikely that the JL staff could have done anything to affect it. I would check the dip stick to make sure that the engine oil level is correct. The LT1 in the Camaro requires 10 quarts of oil and not adding enough oil is the most common mistake made when changing oil.
