I'd rather get a c7. I don't like the fact they are turningab american muscle car into euro style car

just wait a couple months. There will be so many ZL1's getting traded in on C8s, you'll have your pick of the entire lot and prices will be low.

Not necessarily. ZL1 demand will remain high for those who want 4 seats and a supercharged engine. I can see SS owners stepping up to ZL1s and then the SS values dropping. But I don't think we'll see any plummeting ZL1 values.

true, they aren't the same vehicle at all. But I still think we'll see a small but significant uptick in ZL1 trade-ins. I'm fairly certain most people with ZL1s, especially ZL1 1LEs are not using the rear seats. And, when the ZL1 came out we saw a bunch of people contemplating, and actually, trading in C6s for them.

When the warm season changes you will see the auto websites swell with ZL1's for sale it happens every year....My brother own's a chevy dealer and we are amazed at how many camaro owners want a trade price on a C8 already.....The Industry calls them early adopters...

OP - the choice is yours. Honestly though, enjoy your new car, you barely have it broken in .

Vette was never a muscle car, always a sports car.

If you really want a ZL1 and can take the hit in money then I say get it! But if it was me I would hang on to the 2019 a year or so and then look for a used 2019 ZL1 to upgrade. The more equity you have in the SS then you will be better off come trade in time or private sale.
