Success!
Taking two ideas from above, I used the frame puck and jacked up as high as it would go on each side, jammed the ramp underneath each wheel and lowered it back down. That put enough weight on it that it wouldn’t skid..… Oil changed… Success… Thank you guys…esp Mark..... By the way, found these for the harbor freight jacks: https://www.autobodytoolmart.com/cha...s-p-11539.aspx

When I used my old wood ramps, sliding was an issue. I cut up some old, cheap floor mats and stapled them to the pointy underside of the ramps. Car weight was on the mats first so the ramps didn't slide.

+1. This, or a carpet remnant, double wall corrugated box, piece of plywood, etc...

I've had the same problem with my garage at my previous place.
The ramp kept slipping forward when I tried to drive up. Returned it right away and used a low profile jack since. As one member mentioned, cut a lumber and wedge it against the wall and the ramp so that it doesn't slip forward. Good luck!

To each his own, all I do on my car underneath is oil changes. If I can use a ramp versus a jackstand and a jack, I will. I own 2 low profile Jacks and stands when the wheels need to come off. But I don’t like screwing up with the frame crimps etc. if I don’t have to. |

Totally agree.
If I can drive up on to a ramp, I would much rather do that than jacking up.
