Port intake suggestions.
Help I've googled for days. I'm still fairly certain I'm doing port and E85 via CR fueler with 2 or 3 in tank pumps. I'll need an intake. I guess MSD won't be an option for high boost so question is...A Hi Ram powerband and torque curve is a bit much for a street truck at 5250 race weight I'm thinking. Does a turbo or twins still have the same as an NA powerband like 5k+ or should I spend the $$$$ for a PC intake (ouch) or something else? Any good options without breaking the bank?

How much boost do you plan on running?

I was up to 22 psi on the msd without issue.
A friend of mine has a short G1pro made of metal for sale with id injectors and rails if your interested.

There's at least one company out there that manufactures spacers that go between the intake/blower and the heads that have PI-provisions. I'm not sure if that's what you mean, but that is an alternative. I think the spacers were going for something like $500; you add your injectors; you add your plumbing and controller.

I am running the Procharger intake on my twin turbo build with the CR Fueler port injection, works great and looks pretty good too.

Whose low profile came out? I know BTR and Texas Speed were working on one but hadn't seen anything available yet.

I misread the thread title, I thought it said "ported" intake. Far as port injection compatible intake I believe Frankenstein makes a billet intake that is a low rise with port rails.

I greatly appreciate all the useful comments gentlemen!
Didn't realize when I started this project it would cost me almost as much as I paid for the truck lol. Not trying to be cheap because I like to do things right but frugal maybe? [QUOTE=danhr;10996591]How much boost do you plan on running? At least 15-17 maybe 21ish. Enough to do 950 wheel hopefully with the hair dryers. Quote:

Yeah I was confused but thought that's probably how you read it unless you were referring to the port spacers with it. I'm pretty sure Frankenstein is out of my $$ range also unfortunately. |

i will get a price but if you have room for a high ram that seems like a good way to go.
