Nothing on my 2020 either. The notice does say some units affected, but give 2-17-2021?
So, does that mean only some of the cars in those years are affected?

Guess I'll keep checking from time to time. Already took care of the double charge red caliper notice! lol Nothing else shows up.

Two assumptions here on my part.

-The air bag cover is likely 100% the same on all years (17-21) and trim levels, and will effect 100% of the produced vehicles.

-The database is likely not updated yet to reflect your VIN

Updated report says only 30 cars affected total across all those years. Nothing to see here... moving on

I dont get it, 30 cars over 5 years? How do they even identify the cars affected?

Batch control, a basic element of most modern quality management systems. Everything important is made in serialized batches. All batches can be traced to the VIN when GM deems it important enough. So if a tier 1 supplier has a problem with a batch, GM can recall it. And the tier 1 supplier pays, dearly.
