Will camaro be discontinued?

Hello everyone,
I really love muscle cars. When it comes to muscle cars, it is impossible not to mention the Camaro. I am looking to buy myself a Camaro but I have heard that the Camaro line will be discontinued, if so I am afraid buying will not receive long term support. Hope everyone can give me the answer.
Thanks everyone.

a lot of people think that if theres a gen 7 it might be an electric camaro, but nobody really knows.i think there will be plenty of parts around for the 5th and 6th gens as there are many of them on the street.my previous car was a pontiac solstice, fairly unusual, but it was sold because the wife bitched about there being no room in the car,not because i couldnt get parts.

I don’t see parts going anywhere, I also don’t believe the Camaro is going anywhere either. The 6th gens will be around for several more years as GM is racing them thru ‘25 or ‘26 in Australia. I believe the 7th will be electric unfortunately.

Maybe look at the parts availability this way. For my 87 GN I can find any part that I need for the car. 33 years after production stopped. There were 20,000 made. I do not know how many G body Regals were produced between 82 and 87 but now likely as many as Gen 5 and 6. How many Gen 5 produced?

Some vehicles will always have aftermarket and/or factory support. How long has it been since Chevrolet quit making the Chevelle? What part can't you get for one? You could start with a radiator cap and build any year Corvette out of a catalog. Camaros are no different in that regard.

Also consider that many parts are not Camaro specific, and GM isn't going anywhere even if they stop making one car.

If you buy one and get real concerned.. you can always give it to me and not have to worry about that anymore.

God I hope they discontinue them. All the ones after the 5th Gen are ugly as shit.

With the flop of the 6th gen I think there will be a 7th gen. But as others have said it may be electric. They will limp through terrible 6th gen sales numbers for a few more years.

Yes, it will be discontinued due to low sales volume.

Buy one and give GM reason to make more.
