Got a big win this weekend at the TX Champ tour - 1st in BS and 6th in PAX. Donour Sizemore came down from NYC to play with us in his Evora. Super nice dude and had a blast out there. Camaro was crazy fun as usual. Might have liked a codriver on the 60 degree windy day 2, but the falkens are still hooking up really nicely. Having to stand on run 1 from day 1 was a big bummer, but it still worked out. Vid - https://youtu.be/NB-_mkWUa_g

Congrats on the wins guys!
I have to wait until May 2nd for the 1st event here on the Front Range with RMSolo. I just got the ZLE rear cradle bushings, GMPP eLSD tune, cf brake lines and brembo fluid in, can't wait to drive it with those mods, the car feels really nice with the new solid bushings and brake pedal feel is night and day vs stock with the new lines and fluid. I have no idea what the eLSD tune does yet though, not gonna try that out on the street!

Is this run a DNF? After your first 180 you go to the right of a cone that I would have expected you go left of.

Looks like it's a gate with the right side cone on the edge of the pavement and kind of hard to see from this camera angle.

Is this an SCCA Solo club? I ask because I'm shocked a SCCA SSS would allow that course to be run.

No, the 2 clubs nearest to me aren't SCCA clubs.

Got first in class, 2nd overall PAX to an FS M3, and 5th RAW out of 90 entrants. Got real squirely there early in the run, but it doesn't seem to have greatly put me out of place, so probably didn't cost too much time. I did briefly think I might loop the car for the first time though.

This was my first time out on this particular site with the KW V3 Coilovers and newly installed 18x12 Forgestar F14 wheels with 315/30/18 Yokohma A052's! The car was a big step up in grip and responsiveness over the stock FE3 suspension and I was just .400 off the class leader driving a 1999 Camaro Z28 with double adjustable Penskes and also 315/30/18 A052's on 18x12 wheels! I placed 12th out of 148 in Pax on a tight Miata course.
Also, just in case anybody is wondering about fitting 18x12 w/315/30/18 A052 on a stock SS fender with KW's, it can be done with a 18x12 +6 offset wheel & 3 mm spacer up front (for extra tire clearance) and a 18x12 +41 offset in the rear. Big props to Sam Strano for hooking me up with the Forgestar Wheels! |

Are you finding that the upper fender edges don't hit the tire when the suspension compresses with that setup?

Yeah this, and we need to see how far those things stick out.
