A lot of people buy the eBay ones, and use some recall about the factory spoiler chipping the paint to have the trunk repainted and the holes filled, may be something to look into

I installed the ZL1 spoiler on my 2012 SS. It was a decent amount of work, around 2 hours.
The downside is you have to use the plugs, and they don't look the best. I always hated seeing them on my 2012 SS. Do you want the light to work on the spoiler? If so thats a lot more work.

I bout a Matte black one from eBay painted. Excellent product. For the plugs I had some extra factory color touch up paint at my house so painted some snap push in plugs so they match perfect I'll post pics

Think it's to each their own. For me ZL1 spoiler was a 30 minute install, wiring was also about 30 minutes after researching where the 3rd brake light harness is. Plug's aren't the way you must go but it's the cheap way. I had installed plugs and they didn't bother me at all because how good the spoiler looked. So it's a to each their own.

that's two part epoxy under a decent priced CRT ebay zl1 spoiler with wired third brake light, and its touched up with paint and then covered with black vinyl now after making a template for the shape like a blunted diamond with paper..... one of the best cost effective mods I have ever done myself.
