Congrats on your sweet new Camaro I like the name you gave "her/him". Very cool.
On this naming car business, I've never named any of my cars from the past because I wasn't aware that is what some people do. (Except POS seems to be a popular name that most people use for whatever vehicles they drive ) But when I joined this forum 5 years ago and started seeing people name their cars, I thought, well, that's kinda cool...for some. Yea, I can see how it can be weird but there is, I believe for those that do, a connection there with this car to compel us to give it a name. I know I spent YEARS working to get to be in a place to afford one, so yea, damn straight I was going to give her a name. I even put it on the license plate.

The only car we ever named was my wife's minivan. Both kids called it the "BRT," Big Rolling Turd. We were all happy the day we traded it for a 328i.
I know quite a few guys at work that name their cars. Seems like a cool thing to do if you can come up with something unique, like Red Katana.

I like!
On car names, I have to admit in the past I was not one to name cars except for the model or color. Even with my keeper cars I shy-ed away from naming them. My last car though I just got inspired to name it because of the moment and of the particular person that the name of my car was derived from. So at the moment I only named one of my cars.....weird but that's how it is.
