Your question doesn't make any sense as most of the G1 Transformers in the cartoon show from the 80s and their toys had guns of some form.

Also, the Original Bumblebee was a VW Bug. Not a 5th Gen Camaro.

Well, I guess technically speaking, he was an unspecified Cybertronian Hovercar before being reformatted in to a VW Bug after their crash and multi million year dormancy on Earth in the Ark.
