Mechanical question about "shifting faster"
When shifting you move the lever/transmission out of a gear and into another gear. Pick two...doesn't matter, but for this question lets just use third to forth. And this is ideal shifting....normal shift, clutch is all the way in...everything is correct and perfect....
Ok... You push the clutch in and pull the shift lever out of third and into fourth, but theres this very, very brief pause...kind of a hangup, if you will, that lasts a split second ..in other words its not seamless. It's actually broken down like this.. Shift out of third, pause in neutral, shift to fourth. No matter how fast or hard you shift...that tiny pause is gonna happen. My question is this... Is there anyway to make this a super smooth or smoother action? Like one quick movement? OOOOOOORRRRRRR is there something wrong with the car? Thanks in advance for any responses... |

His is. That's why he has so many feminine features.
I've done some research on this myself. I lot of opinions point to the direction of changing out the tranny fluid to RP Syncromax. I recently did this myself, but haven't really had time behind the wheel to notice a change. It's something to look into though.

Enough BS. Can anyone without a masculinity or sexual orientation issue answer the question please?

In all seriousness though, look into the Syncromax fluid. It's not a weighted fluid so it eliminates looking for that specific oil in weight. When I did my research a lot of people noticed how shifting was much more smoother.
