Don't know about that one, but the CAI brand has always demonstrated consistent gains and usually has the highest. Rotofab is another one.

There are dyno results in a link in this thread.. seems pretty good. Not sure how much they cost but if priced well could be a good increase. Have Cold Air Industries myself.

Any of the aftermarket intake systems are going to be louder than stock because they all eliminate the baffles and resonators on the stock intake. The R2C is better than many of the intake systems out there but in Jannety's 2nd test the R2C did not perform as well as the Cold Air Inductions Inc system.

For your year, I'm recommending Ram Air. Vararam... you won't look back.

I wanted an R2C for my `12 V6 but they never got around to making the kit. I have a friend who use to distribute for them and says they make a quality product. Especially their dry filters which are used on Gov't contracted jobs. They also have roots in dirt track racing. I'm not concerned about a few HP difference between one brand vs another, I'm concerned about how well it filters dirt from my engine first, then I go for HP, sound, aesthetics.

Oiled filters flow more air (make more power) and filter dirt/debris better than dry. Give this a look.

Wow, That's the first time I've heard claims that oiled filters actually filter better than paper media. I currently own oiled and dry filters, and for different reasons. Based on my reading and research Donaldson Powercore makes the best dry filter and has more airflow than a stock paper filter. It filters better than paper and oil with cotton gauze. Nothing against CAI brand, if i were buying an oiled cold air intake they make the best, but I want the best filtering. I'd like to see independent testing of the powercore filter up against any oiled cotton media, comparing filtration and airflow.

I've had a few air intakes, the R2C was a good one.

When we were looking to a cai on the wife's 370z for that car the R2C is fairly popular. It makss almost what the long ram intakes made, but with out having to revmove the bumper cover to clean the filters.. I have a Halltech cai on my SS and will be swithcing to R2C filters very soon, getting rid of the K&N filter that came with the Halltech..

I ran one for two years before getting the Vararam. Had no issues with it.
