Rs wheel/tire advice

I have a 2017 2LT RS Fifty with Brembo front brakes. I know my setup is oem right now and square the rims are 20 x 8.5 et 25mm on 245/40R20 Goodyear runflats.
At 29k I'm at end of life on my tires and am looking to do rims at the same time, mine are beat with curb rash and clear coat peeling.
I'm looking at some Foose Flat Black Impala wheels the F168 to be exact. I know they are 20 x 9 et 35mm and will fit but what difference can I expect?
Will they stick out from the fender or fit flush or inset? Would I see any improvement handling wise going staggered vs square? Is it even worth it with a v6? What size tires should I run with them? I'm leaning towards the Continental ExtremeContact Sport or DWS06 in 245/40r20 square setup right now.
I know that's a lot of questions and most the answers will be subjective I'm just looking for opinions right now.

A 20x9 with a 35mm offset vs the stock 20x8.5 with a 25mm offset will be almost the same in terms of distance to the outer fender

I did not like the dws06 I put on my RS. They might have better winter traction than the average AS tire but seemed too soft for non winter use. I really like the mich AS 3+ I put on my SS. I do not notice any performance loss for street use and have piece of mind that I can drive on light snow, slick roads, and low temps.

I want to go with all weather tires for sure. In Virginia if you don't like the weather just wait 15 minutes. Should I stick with the stock tire size?

Gotta love Virginia weather! I’m in the tidewater area all seasons are good here. Had no problems this winter. Now north west of me it may be no bueno. I’m using Bridgestones they are fine as long as I drive like I have some common sense. If I turn the nannies off all bets are off. I looked at the same rim design when I was looking. That are good looking rims.

Should I stay 245 or move up to 255 or 265?

If you're staying with the 8.5" wheel a 245 is going to be your best fit

My bad, I forgot you mentioned that for a second. Ideally a 255 or 265 would be a better fit then.

I think I am finally ready to pull the trigger on a wheel tire combo. I have already ordered new OEM valve stem replacements (AC Delco 15263240) and will use the existing TPMS sensors with them. This is for a 2017 2LT RS with front brembo's square setup, let me know if you see something wrong/missing...

Is 255 the optimal tire size for a 20x9 rim?

I had no idea Foose made a wheel like that. Love the design. Please let us know how they look once you get them installed.

My tire shop is trying to talk me into using Falken Fk510 in 275/35r20 instead of the Michelin. Looking online the reviews are very good and at 189 each installed it is significantly cheaper then the Michelin. It is a summer time but honestly I would not be driving my car in snow or freezing temps anyway. Thoughts on squeezing that on a 9 inch rim and on the tire in general?

They're really highly rated, I'm a decent fan of Falken tires. Go for it and let us know.

Maybe stick with all-season though. Who knows, lol.
