Timely resurrection of a thread. Today we (or some of us) learned that the Camaro is banned in WA and CA due to copper in the brake pads. Or in the gearshift knob, I forget which.

Maybe owners can just remove the offending brake pads and continue to operate their vehicles. Perform a "Flinstone Mod" for a minor degradation in braking performance. Stopping is way overrated anyhow.

I have to agree with this thread so much!

I agree with the whole driving my Camaro can make any bad day a good day. Especially when I drive her to work and the shop guys are like "Is that your pretty red car sitting at the end out there?" Yes sir, yes she is mine. Or simply any compliments I get from her. My daily driver is a minivan (shhhhh..... I have three kids...).

My youngest will say "Daddy's Jeep" or "Daddy's Z", but when pointing to my car she says "Mommy's car!". My husband is like a little kid in a candy store when he drives her.

My son is autistic and LOVES Transformers. He is so excited when "Bumblebee" is parked out front and even more excited when he gets to go for a ride in her. Even if she is red and not yellow.

My Camaro is not bad for my health. I honestly think it improves it....

No glove box tag but there is a small clear backed sticker on my rear view that rather than a note regarding object size states “ Mediocrity seen here”.

All of this is soooo true! It's rained the last couple of days, so I've been driving the truck, but the sun is shining this morning and she and I will be reunited for a day of fun.

This car matches me and my personality perfectly and I feel the attachment every time I climb into the driver's seat or even look at her. I know you guys and girls know exactly what I mean.

YES! Last night the husband laughed at me b/c as I pulled the van into the drive way, I stopped part of the way to just look at my beautiful red head of a Camaro.

Here’s how I manage that risk.

Spot the Hazard, Assess the Risk, Fix the Problem, Evaluate Results, Forget all that sh1t, Drive it like you stole it.
