Do they sound as good as an old school muscle car with open headers? I have driven my Nova shortly like that and wish I could have forever legally . I'm just concerned the note will not be the same. Plus, not sure how NJ inspection would perceive them.. they video the underside of the car looking for cats.

Thanks..
sdynak, found this video for you, this is what mine and banana's will sound like. Turn your volume up and enjoy!! The cutouts will open up at 0.55 on the time bar below the vid...

No weeds are 800ish to 1Kish from what I have seen.

The sound clips are awesome. Too bad I am not cammed though. I love old school.

They're about $1k, but the installation is super easy if you can get your drivers seat out. I had to do mine with the seat in because one bolt wouldn't come out.

I am going to have the same problem. I tried removing my driver seat one day to shampoo the carpet and the rear inside bolt will not come out.

Thanks for the reply fellas. I guess it’s time for me to learn some new stuff. Will do my research on the forum. I’m surprised you guys have mentioned seat removal... I wouldn’t have thought that’s required.

The seat removal is for ease of installation to access the seat harness to tap into the wires. Just remember gray wire bad.

cutouts

I had low profile DMH cutouts welded in last spring.I'll tell you, besides the 3:91 gears, cutouts are the most fun,my grandson loves them too,"let me push the button granpa,I want to hear the noise granpa!"I usually don't start the camaro much before 9am,it's pretty loud with headers,HF Cats a resonator deleted true X-pipe, and Borla Atak mufflers. My wife used to say my car was too loud, that was before I had the cutoffs installed. Now she doesn't mention it,'cause she knows I'll hit the cutout button, and say"How's That".Whatever brand you purchase make sure they're low profile, and you have them welded in.
Enjoy!"steakmaker"

Don’t buy ‘em twice. Avoid the hassle and extreme unreliability of brand X. Just go straight with the NoWeeds and call it a day.

Plus the buttons look cool and they’re push and forget...
