The 200A means that particular circuit is current limited to 200A. It doesn't mean that 200A is constantly being drawn from that circuit. It means that up to 200A can be drawn from that circuit. It would be interesting to know what that 200A circuit goes to so that we'd know exactly how much current gets pulled and why. I doubt though, that even under WOT on a track that 200A is being pulled from that circuit. I also doubt that anybody would have a sound system with a sub pounding at max 60A draw at the same time.

Make better sense?

You guys are adding another 60+ amps (depending on the size of the subwoofer aftermarket amp) to another fused circuit? That's potentially 260A on a circuit designed for 200A, correct? Shouldn't the sub amp have it's own wire directly from the battery terminal?

Hey guys once again bringing the thread back up. I just installed my lc7i 4 channel amp mono amp and a sub. Sounds great but m getting all the anc noises are very loud through the speakers. I have the black connector to the left on the factory amp unit disconnected. Is there something I am missing?

There is none as far as I know. If you use a LOC that should have a remote on output.

I might end up installing some 200hz bass blockers to the door speakers to let the sub do all of the bass work.

Just curious why do you have one12v on the lc2i going to the fuse box and the other to the battery. I’ve been confused wouldn’t it still work if there was just one 12v wire going straight to the battery? Also on your remote wire did you use remote out?

Exactly what I was looking for! My 2017 1SS appears to be the same, so this means is project time!
