Last Camaro year?

Can someone tell me when the last projected year for the Gen 6 Camaro is? 2022 or 2023? Thx

2023 original rumor, 2026 latest rumor. Nothing confirmed, nothing denied, we will find out, when we find out.

Thanks for the response as I want to purchase a ZL1 but am afraid I’ll wait too long. I had never heard of the 2026! I just don’t want to wait too long to acquire a new one. Any other thought out there? I’m hoping at least until 2023….

No earlier than 2025 thanks to Australian V8 super cars but we'll see what GM does if the Camaros ever hit the tracks there

The problem is nobody really knows! GM could decide to ax the car tomorrow. I personally think it goes thru 2023

I heard the other day that GM is planning to be all electric by 2025.

As I've read it, development on 7th gen was cancelled. 6th gen is being built in a factory that is going to be retooled to be all electric after 2023 model year. GM signed some racing team agreement for Australia that requires they use a car that is production until 2026, but I honestly do not believe that will hold them to using the Camaro specifically, and even if it did, it doesn't solve the problem of where the Camaro is going to be built.

Once Lansing converts to electric, the 6th gen Camaro is done, so expect 2022/23 to be the last model years.

If you want to buy the ZL1 and have the $65K to spend, what exactly are you waiting for?

The reason I’m waiting is that I’m trying to put together as money as I can before I get the car. If I had the amount of cash I want to put down on the car I’d get it today. Good question though.

Might be done already.

The Chevy dealers around here look like a "buy here, pay here" used car lot, with no inventory other that a few used cars.
