Ouch - not good reading these various stories. I know its early yet for me in the process but I still dont like hearing it. What a world we live in: Getting a freeging Camaro is akin to getting your name on the approved list for a special release of a Ferrari model that they're only making 100 of. Geezus..... :(

I wouldn't read too much into that story - less a case of GM/Chevy being a problem and more a case of one person getting repeatedly suckered by an independent dealership and not learning their lesson until after the third time.

Thought I'd have better luck with a Camaro so ordered in early summer the order was picked up and a TPW date of 08/16 was given, and here we are end of September no car in sight and Corporate CS states won't see it till late November mid December - enough of this SHIT ...!!!!

***On a side note I think Conti takes orders from out of state people (they don't take deposits) so he can place SOLD orders (sold orders get priority) with GM then never follows through the car comes in and they sell them for way over MSRP - pretty good scam their running on GM ...and screwing a lot of people in the process because if your out of state how are you ever going to know your car was built or not, delivered or not, you have to rely on all of the BS that they sling at you - so they can tell you anything.

So as a result and I'm glad GM did this because this is currently living in my garage right now:

Nice pic. By the way, did you cancel your order? Did you get your deposit back or just said the hell with it since tired of waiting?
