random question: I know you can change your order when until it reaches 3000 status but Can you change between different trim level from a 1SS to a 2SS or Lt1 or would that require a different order number? Would this change your order in line? Just curious.

I can't fully answer your question, but something I learned today as I decide how to handle my allocation is this:
I wanted a 3LT RS V6. The V6 is constrained and won't go through. If I upgrade to an SS it will. However, if my order is accepted by GM (status 2000) I cannot later change it back to a 3LT RS V6. If it goes in as SS, it has to stay as an SS.

Now that doesn't answer if you'd be able to change from a 1SS to a 2SS or vice versa. That might be allowed, but is beyond my knowledge of the ordering process.

That does help! As long as it’s before 2000 I can still do it. That’s good. I’ll make a call to my dealer then since I’m still at 1100.I’ll wait till Tuesday since I know it’s DOSP for them till Tuesday just in case it doesn’t get accepted yet.

If your order goes to 2000 it can still get held up at 3000 due to constraints? I thought if it went to 2000 it avoided constraints.
