Fluid coming from front grill

Hi all,

Every so often, I notice some clear fluid accumulated on my front grill below the Chevy logo on my ZLE. The viscosity is similar to water but it smells sour like grapefruit and is sticky. It seems to present itself after the car has been started after sitting for a few days. Any idea what this fluid could be?

Thanks all!

From the description it could possibly be antifreeze or intercooler fluid.

This might sound weird, but stay with me... are you sure you don't have any cats that are "spraying" on your car?

They normally pick a spot and keep "spraying" in the same area over and over again.

The intercooler fluid is clear?

There are cats that are around my neighborhood, that's not a fun thought to think about haha

I am speaking from experience. I had to do some things in the garage, parked the outside for a few days and they "Sprayed on my tire and front lip" which were the only items that didn't fit under the car cover. Needless to say, I purchased a .50 BMG the next day... (joking, kind of)

Blinker fluid is leaking again.

A bit of Flex Tape on the headlights should take care of it.

The intercooler fluid is the same as coolant.

Intercooler from factory should be dexcool orange. If you have aftermarket TBD, I went green on my 2300 system so they could be told apart if there was a leak...
