Soooo Timothy McVay was justified then right?

If so I sure hope you’re perfectly ok with everything that went down January 6th.

Oh hell no, in no case did I say that, don't try to put words in my mouth. I was just connecting the story lines because most people don't know what Timothys motivation was. Its important to remember why people do things and understand history.

I don’t really buy into all that psychological stuff. Everyone knows right from wrong and McVay was wrong no matter what the outcome of Waco was or who was responsible.

Dude was in the military. If he was angry he should have stayed in another 10 years and taken his aggression out on the Taliban 6 years later.

As much as you and I may believe in right and wrong. That's not how the human mind works across the entire population. If that was the case, there wouldn't be murders, thievery and child molestation at the rates we see every day.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a firm believer in capital punishment and I don't think we use it enough, if you take someone's life, your life should be taken swiftly. I personally think bringing back public hangings would deter more people from committing crimes against others which could bring them to the noose. Modern society doesn't see the consequences to peoples actions and those more prone to that type of behavior have absolutely no deterrent to think twice about their actions.

Regardless of your thoughts on David Koresh, the ATF, or the FBI I see no reason to crush the car.

Nothing has ever been more true. No need to lose another one of them

Why? The car had nothing to do with what happened. That’s the problem nowadays and that’s all I’m going to say about it.

It's people profiting off of him while he victimized and killed 70+ innocent people.

People can show it off as "this is David Koresh's Camaro" and profit from it while those families lost loved ones due to his actions. That's pretty disgusting.

When the 3 girls missing for 10 years in Cleveland were rescued they tore the creep's house down and shredded every sliver of wood, on site as it was demolished, into mulch, then hauled it away to an undisclosed dump with a police escort. They were not even going to risk one square inch of material from that house being sold on ebay.

But hey, the house had nothing to do with it right?

You'd have to be some kind of sick freak to even want to sit in that Camaro.

However,

Would you want, say, Goering's Mercedes?

It is literally a car. No need to waste resources.

Nope, wouldn't want to deal with the legendary maintenance of owning a Mercedes. I would love to see the car in person, mostly for the car itself, not because of the history. Would I want to own it? No, I'm a person of principle... so that would be scratched off of the list.

There were more than one 1937 540K built, so you could see others.

My point was that no, you probably would not want to even go near his.

It was seized by the 4th Infantry upon the liberation of Germany, shipped back to America, and then sold as Army surplus to someone in North Carolina in 1955.

His estate tried to put it up for auction on ebay about 10 years ago. Ebay refused to list it. As a 540K itself it's estimated to be worth about $7m

With it's history and lineage? No one wants it.

I say leave it in a field with some Holocaust survivors and a pack of matches.
