The most interesting of all Camaros in my mind are the early 80s Berlinettas. Here’s a great in-depth video made by an owner. That dashboard layout is something else! Check out the swivel head radio, and the turn signal actuator is a toggle switch!

1st Gen: ‘69 ZL1. The pinnacle of 60’s big block performance. It would be another , what, 40 years? before you could drive 500+ hp off an American dealer lot.
2nd Gen: ‘72 SS 4-speed. Cause I had one. And it was a hoot. 3rd Gen: ‘89-‘91 Iroc or Firebird Formula. I had an ‘89 Formula, and performance was just starting to creep back in. 4th Gen: Never owned one, but if I could, Probably a 98-99-2000 SS. Actually been thinking about this lately, you can pick them up cheap and they have a ton of aftermarket power potential. 5th Gen: 2015 Z28, no question. Probably the last Z28 we’ll ever see. 6th Gen: 2018 ZL1 1LE. Brutal track performance rivaling cars that cost 3x as much or more, while still being daily driveable. I couldn’t swing it financially so I’m still in my ‘17 SS, which still makes me smile every time I drive it, which is the best reason of all. |

2. 1970 split bumper(had a 1974,1977,1979) 3. 1983 Z28 (had a 83 Z28 with the fiberglass front end option. loved that car.) 4. 2001 Z28 (hardtop with hurst shifter, rear defrost and monsson stereo were the only options it had from the factory. loved this car and had a lot of fun in it. at one time it was number 2 on the ls1tech bolt on list. the one I should have never sold. 5. 2014 camaro Z28 just always thought these were cool 6. 2020 camaro ZL1 sation steel with black appearance package |

I did a double take at first, from that angle it's strange how much it looks like my first car, a red '69 Firebird. |
