Just got home in time to avoid some spring sprinkles. Went over to US Air Force Academy Hobby Shop to perform my oil change. Not too spirited on the way back but just a little.

Here's to better weather.

James, I think RiverCityCreations can do that.

This has me sold on getting the dark GM wheels and dark center caps. Just gotta pay down some medical debt first.

I went out for a nice 4 hour run. Started off at a cool 67 and returned home to 77, topless all the way. Drove around with the seat heater and steering wheel heat on for the first two hours. Feel weird about it. LOL

Even better! Since my wheels are closer to black, the black caps will work with mine.

Oh oh

my left DRL inside the HID is not working anymore also the left rear blinker is out. Additional to that the right rear light is not working as well. Is there any correlation between those malfunctions?
The Low and high beam are working also the DRL on the right side.
Any suggestions? I disconnected the battery already, nothing.

Check all the connections for the lights as well as all the fuses. I saw someone else post about this in another thread awhile back. Can’t remember what to do if that doesn’t fix it.

CRAP!..... I absolutely love Soleils new center caps and grey painted rims. I already loved James black painted rims.
Worse, I asked my wife if she liked the look and she likes it. Normally she doesn’t care about things like rims, but she said it stands out more and it’s aggressive...
Sooooo I will likely get the dark centercaps this summer from river city creations, and figure a way to get mine painted....
I thought I saw Chevy now offers our FIFTY rims painted like that.... I wonder if it would be cheaper to buy them or paint mine, but I bet they are like a grand a piece to buy....

I just looked at the Chevy website. There is an optional rim that is $1,650 extra to order a set with a new car... it looks just like what Soleil has, but in black spoke....I wonder what the dealer would charge for a set of four....

FWIW,
Wildhammer has 2LT/2SS Options, not much cheaper but slightly.

ShopChevyParts has only the 2LT option. They don't have the 9.5" rears for an SS.

I've not seen our wheels available for a while now, but I've not really looked that hard either.

The paint job cost me 600€= 672$. You have to tell the painter that he must clean the rims really throughly. I had big problems with one rim. It was several times still contaminated with silicone even after cleaning and cleaning and cleaning and..........in the worst case you have to remove the paint.
